QDA stands for Qualified Dividend Account. These accounts do not have minimum balance penalties, only perks. What does that mean? You’ll never pay a fee for not maintaining a set balance, instead you’re rewarded for the more money you have on deposit. The first line shows the minimum balance to start earning interest. Once the minimum balance to earn interest is met you will earn the APY indicated on all funds in that account, based on how much you have on deposit in that account.
